Application Process
- Book an appointment at your nearest Mexican consulate
- Submit documents: passport, application form, photos, proof of income/assets, application fee (~$47 USD)
- Receive a single-entry visa valid for 180 days
- Travel to Mexico within the validity period
- Visit INM (Instituto Nacional de Migración) within 30 days of arrival to convert to a residency card
- Receive your Tarjeta de Residente Temporal
